What’s LOVE got to do with feng shui? A lot, if you’re serious about shifting your romantic life.
Feng shui is “a Chinese geomantic practice in which a structure or site is chosen or configured so as to harmonize with the spiritual forces that inhabit it,” according to Merriam-Webster, and literally means “wind water” in Chinese.
I believe the way you configure your home either blocks or brings in opportunities for your personal, professional and spiritual lives. So let’s get personal in this post. Here are a few ways to leverage feng shui to bring, ahem, a friendlier suitor into your life.

Here are simple things you can do that are affordable, easy and fun:
1. Pair things like candles, vases, etc. If you are in the habit of having a single decorative item or a single piece of furniture, replace them with two. Visually, how fabulous is a pair of candles glowing good vibes in your abode? If you have a painting or artwork of just one person or thing, try replacing it with a pair of paintings or a painting of two characters. In terms of furniture, if you have just one chair, pair two. By setting another chair next to it, you’re telling the universe and your subconscious you’re welcoming a potential suitor into your life.
2. I’ve talked a lot about clearing that clutter. If this doesn’t inspire you “single and wanting to mingle” folks, I don’t know what will 😊. When you clean out your space — for example, a closet or your medicine cabinet — you are opening up space for someone to fill it. Try it!
