It is indeed a state of mind and children know the secret to be happy for no reason!!
Out of nowhere my 8 year old declared y'day "Mom, I have the perfect life .. I'm so happy". After giving her a hug, I asked her what made her happy. Without hesitation she replied, "I love my school and friends and I have wonderful parents". The morning fog broke just then and the sun shone through and I saw the light of contentment in my child's eyes. It was a magical, inspiring moment!!
