Your secret weapon: VINEGAR.
All you need to do is put equal parts vinegar and water into a spray bottle and spray the edges of the window.
Don’t worry about the smell. When the vinegar it dries up, the smell dissipates. Another benefit — no harmful chemicals that you may breathe in from pesticides.
