3 Tips to Finally Clear Clutter

Cluttered home, cluttered mind. If you’ve been strugglin’ to clear that clutter, boo, this vlog is for you.

You’ve heard it before.

When things are cluttered on the outside, that correlates with a cluttered mind, body and spirit on the inside. Basic. Feng. Shui. But getting motivated isn’t that easy. I hope these three simple tips will have you clamoring to clear that clutter — finally!

According to this New York Times article, studies show “Clutter can negatively impact mental well-being, particularly among women. Clutter can also induce a physiological response, including increased levels of cortisol, a stress hormone.”

Here are three things you can do to clear the clutter — finally!

Take Action

1. Start small: Do one room, one cabinet, one drawer a day or week. The key is to keep moving forward.

2. Clean: After clearing clutter, clean. That clears space and energy even more because the energy is stuck in the dirt and dust bunnies. Try it, and you’ll see how much clarity and calm comes to you.

3. Call your tribe: It helps to get a friend or family to come help. It’s even more fun, and you have an accountability partner.

Make it a family affair. Get to clearing y’all.
