Finding Calm, Ease and Flow During the COVID-19 Craze

What if ease and flow were things that came your way — even during times of crisis? With all the uncertainty of this COVID-19 pandemic surrounding our health, jobs and the future, you can choose not to resist and let things flow.

Here’s how you can practice non-resistance and start releasing your worries and woes with ease:

Take Action

1. For a moment, or *extra credit* for the whole day, let ease and flow be your mantra. That means when you have a fearful thought or negative vibe taking over your mind, let it go. You may get addicted to this feeling.

I’m not saying don’t worry about bills or not being employed during this coronavirus craze. Instead, focus on what you can do about it. Look for jobs online, write a cover letter and spruce up your resume.

2. Spend time in nature. If you are on a total lockdown in your area, gaze at a nearby plant, tree, flower and take 10 deep breaths to reset.

3. You do you, boo! What excites you? Reading? Writing in your journal? Talking with friends? These are all good remedies and my go-tos for getting out of a funk or negative vibe.

* In the video, I mentioned Eckhart Tolle, one of my favorite authors, who teaches about flow and one of the most important life lessons: “It is what it is.” Check out his books “A New Earth” and “The Power of Now.”

So what are you doing to stay in the ease and flow of things?
