I’ve heard so many peeps in my circle say they are feeling down, in a rut and there is no end in sight with the upheaval and uncertainty COVID-19 has caused for everyone in the WORLD.
Wow. We are all going through this, y’all. Repeat after me:
You are not alone.
I am not alone.
I am not going to give up.
There is something good around the corner for me.
Here’s a reminder that you are going to be OK, from me to you:
1. Breathe deeeeeeply 10x or more if you like. It’ll help you reboot your body, mind and spirit from the inside out.
2. Don’t give up. Find creative ways to get yourself out of the darkness and into the light. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. I love to create beautiful things — be it with my communication skills (blogging, creating videos or journaling), arranging furniture and flowers or cooking a scrumptious meal. You do you, boo. Do things you enjoy.
3. Attitude of gratitude. Try it. Write down 10 things you are grateful for now. You can start with No. 1 and write, “I am grateful for my breath that gives me life and calms me.”
